What We Believe
Below is a brief summary of our core beliefs. Our full doctrinal positions are articulated in our church Constitution, which is grounded in the inspired and inerrant Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. What follows is a concise overview of the foundational biblical convictions that shape our teaching, worship, and ministry.
Beliefs Summary
- The Bible We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally and plenarily inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings,preserved as such, and are the final authority for faith and life.
- God We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of the virgin Mary, and sent to redeem humanity through His substitutionary death and bodily resurrection.
- Humanity & Sin We believe all people are created in God’s image, have fallen into sin, and are separated from God apart from His saving grace.
- Salvation We believe salvation is the gift and work solely of God received through faith in Jesus Christ, expressed through repentance resulting in the new birth and eternal life.
- Resurrection & Eternity We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, and in a literal heaven and hell.
- Christ’s Return We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent return of Jesus Christ. We are unashamedly pre-tribulational and pre-millenial in our teaching.
